Bath Spa

One of the city's main attractions has long been its famous hot spa water, from the area's hot springs.

The Bath springs are the warmest geothermal springs to be found in the UK. These natural geothermal mineral springs fed into the Roman Baths complex, which was responsible for the prominence of Bath in the Roman period, and for the later development of Bath as England's leading eighteenth and early nineteenth century health resort.

Thermae Bath Spa opened in 2006. It has a main spa, with two natural thermal baths, a rooftop pool, an indoor pool, body treatment facilities and a large steam room elegantly glass-partitioned into four circular zones.
